About record shows and our history

Record shows are where you can shop for vinyl records, CDs, DVDs, LP’s, 45’s, band merchandise and collectibles. They are similar to craft fairs. The promoter (us) arranges the room, organizes the vendors and runs advertising. The independent vendors bring in music related items for sale at the show. Currently our shows are primarily vinyl. Whether you’re looking for LP’s, 45’s or 78’s, at least one of our vendors should have something for you. We also have CDs, DVDs (even Blu-ray), t-shirts and collectibles.

We feature a wide range of genres. Pop classics – Beatles, Rolling Stones, Allman Brothers, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, The Who – along with newer artists Nirvana, Alice Cooper, Backstreet Boys and Taylor Swift. Heavy Metal, classical, grunge and garage rock can also be found.

On this site you can find our calendar with all of the shows on our events page. Shows in Illinois are found on the Illinois page. Our Wisconsin shows are featured on the Wisconsin page. Upcoming notable dealers and how to become one are found on our vendors page. The Affiliates page links out to our locations and vendors with websites. Finally, Find Us, has our social media links.

Bill and Brian have been organizing and promoting record shows for over 30 years. Bill owned a record store in Wheeling. Brian owned a CD and DVD store in Wheeling. They and their core of dealers have decades of experience collecting and enjoying music.
