BRAIDWOOD, IL — Top Fuel Saloon is hosting its first Record Rendezvous
this Sunday, January 26, a chance to shop local and enjoy their famous
food, drinks and hospitality. With twelve friendly, knowledgeable
vendors from two states selling new and used LP’s,
45’s, CD’s, and t-shirts from most popular genres, the market for music
fans of all budgets is a stop for post-holiday shoppers seeking
hard-to-find gifts for themselves and others.
The Record Rendezvous runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 275 S Hickory St,
Braidwood, IL 60408. The event is free to attend, family-friendly, and
offers ample parking. Top Fuel Saloon is conveniently located at the NE
corner of I-55 and Reed Road (exit 233). The
“five star dive bar” has a great bar, restaurant, stage for live
performances, and a heavy metal radio station (WRXQ Q-Rock 100.7)! It’s
a local institution known for its casual atmosphere and community
involvement. All ages are welcome.
Managed by Bill Weber of Midwest Music Marketplace, the record show
features a selection of the best vendors from Illinois and Indiana.
This will be the inaugural event, but we will be returning to Top Fuel
several times this year.
Shoppers will find an curated selection of quality recorded music
including vinyl records, compact discs and DVD’s. As well as
memorabilia like t-shirts, buttons, stickers, and posters. Genres
include pop, metal, psych, prog, Motown, jazz, blues, country,
live recordings and more. The vendors are very knowledgeable, friendly
and experienced. We welcome all inquiries. The curious can come to
buy, sell, trade, or get appraisals on single items or collections.

The full restaurant menu offers much more than “bar food.” Top Fuel
Saloon has been voted “Best Wings” & “Top-3 Fish Fry” 2021, 22 &

County Herald/News Reader’s Choice competition! The bar
has a extensive selection of beer and even local mead on tap. Sunday
morning also features the “Build Your Own Bloody Mary Bar.” Drink,
